AA Typewriter by Attila Acs is a free distressed old-school typewriter font with blunt slab serifs and an uneven, ink-starved finish. The letters feel forceful, with chipped edges, broken strokes, and small shifts in width.
It can give horror posters a harsh, battered voice, yet the same worn print suits vintage food packaging. The rough impressions resemble letters pulled from an overused ribbon. Album covers and independent magazine spreads can use that damaged texture as part of their imagery.
