Minstrel Poster NF by Nick Curtis of Nick's Fonts is a free geometric poster font with massive, tightly fitted capitals. Broad rectangular strokes are cut by sharp triangular notches, and the rounded forms swell into deep curves. The result recalls theatrical and machine-age lettering from the Art Deco period.
A cinema, nightclub, or fashion label could use its compact silhouette for an identity with a strong period reference. It also suits album covers and event posters, where the dramatic wedges and oversized curves can become part of the surrounding pattern or illustration.
