Pixular by Alexander Kominek of FontStruct is a free pixel font with stepped construction drawn from early computer displays. Square corners and rigid verticals dominate, but clipped curves keep the lettering from looking entirely mechanical. It can turn a game menu or digital graphic into part of a deliberately retro interface.
