Skuer by Valdet Hajdari is a free groovy display font with towering letterforms and an unusually dense silhouette. Its extreme thick-and-thin shifts turn broad solid masses into slender verticals, with narrow white cuts adding a sharp internal beat. Rounded bulges and straight, almost architectural edges give the alphabet an extravagant 1970s poster character with a slightly surreal edge.

A music poster is its most convincing setting, since the compressed forms and sliced details can echo stage lighting and club graphics, and the same qualities suit album artwork and festival branding. Fashion packaging and editorial covers offer another home for its dramatic scale and stylized geometry.

Skuer is a free typeface created in October 2012.

It contains the letters A to Z, with uppercase and lowercase letters identical, and the numbers 0 to 9.
