Bandoengsche by Gumpita Rahayu is a free high-contrast sans serif with tall, slender capitals and an elegant display profile. Broad circular letters sit beside much narrower forms, producing a lively change of width across a line. Its tapered joins suggest a restrained Art Deco influence.
Fashion branding is its strongest setting, especially on labels and campaign graphics centered on elongated lettering. It also suits exhibition posters and magazine covers with an architectural edge. In product identity, the changing widths can turn a simple name into a recognizable visual signature.
