Biko-Black Písmo

Biko Black by Marco Ugolini is a free heavy geometric sans serif with broad, assertive forms and a clean contemporary finish. Its capitals are strongly squared, but rounded joins and near-circular lowercase shapes soften the dense weight, with compact spacing giving the lettering a firm, continuous line.

Sports branding and children's entertainment are very different settings, yet the font's sturdy construction and open, friendly curves suit both. It also has the punch needed for posters and food packaging. The approachable geometry is especially apt for youth-focused brands and venues that want a substantial logo or upbeat campaign voice without borrowing the hard edge of an industrial grotesque.

Biko is now also available in Light. It is a geometric sans serif. The name is a tribute to Steve Biko, a South African anti-apartheid activist.
