Heavy capitals alternate between solid and reversed forms, with chipped edges and uneven rectangular backings. The mismatched widths and crude outlines give each letter a cut-and-paste quality.
A gig poster is its clearest home. The same abrasive construction suits record sleeves, skate merchandise, and underground event graphics. Across those uses, irregular blocks turn the wording into printed texture.
