Comons Lighÿ Písmo

Comons Light, designed by Masayo Shimojima of the studio Creation, is a free calligraphic display font with tall, narrow letters and pronounced stroke changes. Rounded forms, blunt joins, and hooked endings give the lettering the lively pull of hand-painted shop signs.

Packaging is a natural setting for its compact proportions and jaunty, hand-drawn curves. It can also shape restaurant branding, event posters, and music merchandise with an informal vintage note. Beside simple food illustrations or retro decorative borders, the hooked strokes can become part of the label artwork rather than remaining detached text.
