CRU-visarut New, designed by Prachid Tinnabutr, is a free handwritten font with very tall, loosely drawn letters and a brisk rightward slant that varies from character to character. Its thin strokes shift in width, and the uneven joins, pointed peaks, and sudden curves give the writing an informal, slightly restless pace.
It is especially convincing on music posters and printed event flyers. Apparel graphics and personal stationery can use the same wiry line, but display lettering remains its strongest role because the exaggerated height and irregular forms read like quick custom lettering.
