Ekushey Lohit je bezplatné bengálské písmo s klidným, novinovým nádechem. Písmena působí přirozeně, jako by vycházela z každodenního čtení v bengálštině, s plynulými zaoblenými tvary a stabilním horizontálním rytmem, který udržuje texturu vyrovnanou, nikoliv zdobnou.
