Ferrugem

Ferrugem font by Marcio Hirosse is a free eroded display font with letters that look like they’ve been eaten away by time and acid rain. Chunky black forms dissolve into rings of tiny dots, creating a gritty, rusted texture that feels almost wet and inky. Up close, the pitted edges and speckled halos give every word a tactile, industrial mood-like stenciled paint flaking off a metal door.

Using Ferrugem, you can push posters, album covers, horror titles, extreme sports branding, zines, and underground event flyers into full-on distressed territory. This free font works beautifully as a loud, oversized headline while a clean geometric sans handles the supporting text.
