FFCC Echoes of Time, credited to David Fens, is a free pixel font with a spare, early-computer look, mixed letter widths, and unusually tall, narrow forms. Its light strokes and open interiors keep the silhouette wiry.

Retro technology is the clearest subject, making it suitable for game interfaces, science-fiction posters, and electronic music artwork. The uneven widths also suit title cards for stories about obsolete machines or digital archives. Alongside circuit diagrams, scan lines, or low-resolution illustrations, the lettering can become part of the interface imagery rather than ordinary text.
