Giraffenhals-Bold Písmo

Giraffenhals Bold by Manuel Viergutz is a free distorted display font with extremely tall, narrow letters and a scraped, handmade surface. The strokes shift in width, and their wavering edges keep the upright forms from looking mechanical. Its stretched silhouette gives each setting a restless, unmistakable vertical pull.

Paired with lanky character drawings or rough collage textures, the lettering suits underground concert posters, experimental magazine covers, and offbeat fashion graphics. On cafe signage and merchandise, the name can become part of the illustration itself as a row of wiry, uneven figures.
