LowEa Wd, designed by David Rakowski, is a free cartoon display font built from uneven, hand-drawn letterforms. Each character has its own construction, mixing broad slab-like strokes, narrow joins, rough edging, and scratchy interior marks. The result is deliberately unruly.

Children's book covers and game graphics can treat the changing shapes as illustration, whereas gig posters and novelty packaging gain a cut-and-paste, underground-comic edge.
