Okuda Italic Písmo

Okuda Italic, designed by Neale Davidson, is a free condensed italic sans serif with a sharply theatrical profile. Its very tall letters lean hard to the right, combining broad strokes with fine joins and clipped, economical curves that keep the texture taut rather than bulky, with a strong vertical pull even at its narrowest.

The steep silhouettes echo speed lines and elongated fashion photography, making the face a convincing fit for sports posters, album artwork, event graphics, and apparel branding. In magazine design, it gives cover lines a sleek editorial snap.

Okuda is based on the computer lettering of the LCARS system created by Mike Okuda for Star Trek: The Next Generation. It includes a full alphabet, extended punctuation, the euro symbol, and bold, italic, and bold italic faces.
