Pauls Illuminated Celtic Font by Vicious Ink is a free Celtic initial font modeled on illuminated manuscripts, with uneven silhouettes formed by dense animal ornament and interlace. Birds, serpents, hounds, and knotted ribbons repeatedly shape the letters.

A historical book cover is its clearest application, with the interlaced creatures turning a title into part of the illustration rather than ordinary typography. The same medieval imagery also suits heritage event posters, folk music packaging, and fantasy game graphics, but publishing remains its most convincing role because the letters behave like miniature illustrations.
