Plateaux Písmo

Plateaux by LDF is a free eroded slab serif display font with broad, weighty letters and blunt, squared serifs. Horizontal scratches cut through the strokes like weathered paint. Its uneven edges keep the forms rough rather than mechanical.

On packaging, the worn surface lends a convincing workshop or old-store character to labels for coffee, tools, and craft goods. It also fits gig posters and merchandise with a rootsy, handmade direction. In signage, the letters can become part of a painted storefront emblem rather than ordinary wording.
