Quinquefoliolate

Quinquefoliolate is Ray Larabie's free botanical eroded display font, and it looks like the letters have been overgrown with torn leaves and thorny vine tips. The shapes feel wild and ragged rather than merely distressed, with rounded forms constantly bitten into by sharp sprouts that give the whole font a brambly, organic rhythm.

It fits poster work, album covers, book jackets, event flyers, and title cards that want something plant-like but not sweet. As a free font, it also works well for logos, short headlines, and monogram-style marks, because the leafy erosion gives even a few letters a dense, tangled silhouette.
