SM WaterisM by Dan Meyer, known as Smashmethod, is a free angular display font with broad, hand-cut strokes and sharply changing widths. Its irregular curves, pointed joins, and broken-looking shapes suggest an invented alphabet with a rough science-fiction edge.

Game graphics and experimental music posters are very different settings, but both suit lettering that feels coded, strange, and deliberately unstable. It can also shape apparel graphics and entertainment branding, where the letters can become part of a futuristic emblem or fictional interface rather than serving as ordinary text.
