U2 Metalona* Písmo

U2 Metalona by deFharo is a free decorative display font with tall, rounded letters and a distinctly engineered silhouette. Repeated horizontal bars extend beyond the main strokes, ending in small hooked caps that make the alphabet resemble custom metalwork or ornamental circuitry rather than conventional typographic decoration.

Its mixture of machine-like structure and delicate flourishes suits both science-fiction game graphics and experimental fashion branding. Electronic music posters and nightclub signage suit its sleek, unusual signature. In magazine publishing, the recurring crosspieces can become a recognizable theme across section openers, cover lines, contents pages, and related graphic details throughout a full issue.

The typeface imitates joined plates.

The letters themselves are from the Unicase version of my typeface, Sabática.

The typeface includes terminals for the beginning and end of a sentence. It uses the () keys; parentheses, square brackets, and braces are also terminals.
