Vacation Postcard, designed by Nick Curtis, is a free retro display font with broad, blocky capitals and a punchy outlined construction. Rounded shoulders meet squared corners and sharp cut-ins, giving the letters a hand-built signboard quality. A dark offset edge creates a simple dimensional effect.
Its nostalgia suits travel posters and souvenirs, but the stout shapes also fit arcade graphics and comics. The lettering recalls painted attraction signs and novelty advertising. All share the punch of fairground signs.
