Xero Hollow Italic by Rob Barba of Megami Studios is a free outlined display font with loose, forward-leaning sans serif shapes. Its hollow strokes, softly rounded corners, and slightly irregular curves resemble quick marker lettering.

Youth-focused clothing or skate brands could use it for logos and merchandise, with the open linework echoing hand-drawn graphics. It also suits event posters and music artwork. The slanted forms and casual outlines are especially at home with street culture, indie rock, and comic-inspired illustration.

Xero is an intentionally loose creation of a humanist font. Played rougher than its counterparts Helvetica and Arial, Xero works well for those who want to go that route but don't want the sharply defined lines of others in the humanist family.
